Listening, and not hearing, is essential for effective mediation. For a successful dispute resolution, the mediator/conciliator should have the ability to understand the issue on both the side, identify the common ground and help the parties to reach a win-win situation. I sincerely I believe I possess excellent listening and comprehending skills. Furthermore, at times, it simply requires breaking the communication parties between parties with effective questioning. Also, I sincerely think, a good use of caucus sessions can solve a majority of disputes. I have good communication skills which I can adapt as per the requirement of the parties. I am an independent legal practitioner currently. I am also pursuing a part-time online LLM in corporate and financial law.
