The Securities Market Approach for Resolution Through ODR Portal (SMART ODR Portal) harnesses online conciliation and online arbitration for the resolution of disputes in the securities market and is built by the 7 Market Infrastructure Institutions - National Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange, Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited, Central Depository Services Limited, National Securities Depository Limited, Multi Commodity Exchange and National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. Sama was tasked with development of the platform and continues to maintain it. We're extremely proud to have had the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, launch the Notice Management System (NMS) designed for the State Commission for Persons with Disability. The State Commissioner can send digital notices quickly and easily, as well as effectively monitor the activity on policy announcements, statutory compliance and much more.

It's the first step towards integrating ODR in the Commissioner's Office and we look forward to partnering with several more departments and enterprises in rethinking the smallest unit of communication - the legal notice.

Sama assisted Urja Helpdesks in Police Stations across all districts in Madhya Pradesh as a technical facilitator in conducting online mediations. A total of 1600+ disputes were settled in this project.

Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA) hosted an Online Lok Adalat wherein settlements reached 1.8 crores.

Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA) hosted an Online Lok Adalat which saw a 32% settlement rate for Challan cases.

Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) hosted an Online Lok Adalat wherein settlements reached 97 crores!

Gujarat State Legal Services Authority (GSLSA) hosted an Online Lok Adalat wherein settlements reached 1.6 crores!

Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) hosted the 3rd Online Lok Adalat, witnessing more than 80 Lakh+ cases being filed online and 14 lakh+ settlements worth 94 crores. This Online Lok Adalat was one of the biggest Online Lok Adalat in terms of scale and had all 34 districts of the State participating.

Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) entered into a collaboration with Sama to host the second Online Lok Adalat in the state, witnessing more than 6,00,000+ cases being filed online and 2 lakh+ settlements worth 7.5 crore+. This Online Lok Adalat was unique, as there was a dedicated use of Sama ODR Platform for traffic Challan cases in Pune, and in addition to the tech support, they also used Sama Mediators to facilitate Online Pre-Counseling Sessions.

Sama assisted Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (MPSLSA), and Urja Helpdesks in Police Stations across Jabalpur, Gwalior and Bhopal, as a technical facilitator in conducting online mediations. A total number of 4,000+ disputes were taken up with total settlements crossing 1000+.

Sama assisted Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority as a technical facilitator in conducting an online lok adalat. A total number of 18,000+ disputes were taken up with total settlement value crossing ₹ 14 crores.

Sama assisted Bihar State Legal Services Authority as a technical partner in conducting an online lok adalat. A total number of 19,000+ disputes were settled with total settlement value crossing ₹ 118 crores.

The first ever E- Lok Adalat was conducted in Gujarat under the aegis of Gujarat State Legal Services Authority. The technical support in facilitating settlement discussions for pre-litigation cases was provided by the Sama ODR platform.

Sama assisted Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority, as a technical partner in conducting an online lok adalat. A total number of 33,546 disputes were settled with total settlement value crossing ₹ 270 crores by 351 Benches.

On August 8, 2020- Sama assisted Delhi State Legal Services Authority as a technical partner in conducting an online lok adalat. Around 77 courts from 11 districts across Delhi, came onto Sama's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, to settle disputes online through Sama Video Conferencing & electronic signatures. A total of 5838 disputes were settled, with total settlement value crossing 46.2 crores.

Indian Mediation Week (IMW) is a pan-India mediation awareness campaign by Sama. Started in 2017, IMW volunteers have sensitized 10 lakh+ people about the benefits of mediation. We conduct mediation awareness drives, and creative events like flashmobs, street plays etc to create awareness about mediation amongst the general public of India.
